My Size Potty Pro 2-in-1 Potty Training Toilet, Green
Ingenuity modeled this freestanding floor toilet on standard plumbing fixtures to help toddlers get used to the real thing. It starts on the bathroom floor as a low basin and transitions later when the top ring lifts off to fit adult toilets. The plastic tank behind the seat holds wipes and books within reach.
Prices are what the catalogue last saw and move without warning. The number on the retailer page is the one that counts.
Reading the piece
- Realistic flush handle A chrome-style handle on the side of the tank plays a recorded water sound when pressed down. Toddlers push it after using the bowl to practice the routine of finishing up in the bathroom.
- Removable inner bowl The smooth plastic bowl lifts straight out from the top of the base when it is time to empty it into the main toilet. An integrated splash ridge along the front rim helps direct urine downward into the basin.
- Detachable toilet ring The upper seat portion unlatches from the green base and sits on a standard household toilet seat. This lets an older toddler balance on the larger bathroom fixture while keeping a familiar sitting opening.
- Tank storage compartment The upper tank lid lifts up to reveal an open storage bin directly behind the seat back. Parents can store a wipe package or small board books inside so supplies stay off the bathroom floor.
What the maker prints
- Weight limit
- up to 50 lb
- Age the maker gives
- from 18 months
- Power
- 2 x AAA batteries
Worth a second look
- Needs two AAA batteries. Batteries are rarely in the box, and a motor that has to be fed is the part people forget when they compare it to a bouncer that costs nothing to run.
- It covers one stage: on the move. After that it goes in the closet, so the price is really a price per season.
- Sold in four versions that share this frame. They differ in the cover and nothing else, so pick on the fabric and check each one’s own price.
