Ready Set Go Potty Training Toilet

On the move

A plain toddler trainer built close to the floor for children learning the bathroom routine. The wide plastic shell stays put on bathroom tile, while a raised deflector up front helps direct streams down. When finished, the inner basin lifts straight out of the top for quick emptying directly into the main toilet.

Prices are what the catalogue last saw and move without warning. The number on the retailer page is the one that counts.

Reading the piece

  • Removable inner bowl The plastic basin drops in from the top and lifts out by its rim. That allows quick emptying directly into the standard toilet without having to haul the full base over to the bowl.
  • Splash deflector A molded lip rises up at the front rim of the bowl. It deflects stray spray back downward into the basin, which helps when toddlers sit back or lean forward during use.
  • Rubberized grip base The underside features non-skid rubber feet set along the edges. These contact points grip slick tile floors to keep the plastic housing from sliding around when a toddler sits down or stands up.
  • Smooth plastic shell Molded plastic surfaces wipe clean with a rag and mild bathroom cleaner. The untextured white and gray finish leaves few grooves or crevices where grime can collect between thorough scrubbings.

Worth a second look

  • It covers one stage: on the move. After that it goes in the closet, so the price is really a price per season.

What buyers wrote about this one

“Affordable, easy to clean, simple, only two pieces. Straight to the point & gets the job done.”

Ashley, rated 5 out of 5

“This potty is so simple and all you need for potty training a little boy. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, easy to clean, and a generous size without being overwhelming or uncomfortable for my 2 year old boy. This is a GREAT potty for peeing. Another potty we have is a disaster because the opening is too small and the guard does the exact opposite of what is intended.”

AVP, rated 5 out of 5

“This potty is good because the entire top part is one piece. I have another one where the seat comes off and there is a bucket underneath but since I have a little boy, the pee leaks everywhere. I like the small size and the appearance isn't off putting! It's lightweight and sturdy, no issues there. My only gripe is the little non-skid pads were enticing for my 2 year old to rip off so now it skids everywhere.”
