Foldaway Ladder Potty

On the move

The frame sets a small ladder and toilet ring over the standard family bowl. Toddlers can climb up, turn around, and sit without help from an adult. When not in use, the entire assembly folds flat to lean against the wall or slide beside the tank.

Prices are what the catalogue last saw and move without warning. The number on the retailer page is the one that counts.

Reading the piece

  • Adjustable step height The foot step moves up or down to meet the child as they grow. It also lets the base level properly against round, elongated, and D-shape porcelain bowls.
  • Textured foot treads The broad steps have textured plastic surfaces to keep wet feet from sliding. Wide molded handles at the top give toddlers something solid to hold while turning to sit.
  • Flat fold storage The ladder legs hinge together so the whole unit flattens in one quick motion. It tucks neatly into the gap between the toilet base and the bathroom wall.
  • Smooth plastic surfaces The seat ring and splash deflector wipe clean with standard bathroom spray. There are no fabric seams or foam cushions to trap moisture during daily use.

Worth a second look

  • It covers one stage: on the move. After that it goes in the closet, so the price is really a price per season.

What buyers wrote about this one

“I’m really impressed with this toilet seat, and it has worked extremely well for us. One of my favorite features is how compactly it stores when it isn’t being used. It doesn’t take up nearly as much space as I expected, which makes it especially convenient when you need to tuck it away between uses or take it along for travel. It also has a really versatile fit.”

“I got this for my granddaughter for when she’s ready to start potty training; she’s not quite there yet, but I wanted something already set up for her visits. The quality is really nice: the materials feel sturdy, the handles snap in securely, and the textured steps give good grip. It fits our toilet perfectly and doesn’t wobble or shift when you put weight on it, which is exactly what you want for a little one learning to climb up on their own.”

“As a mom of three, I’ve seen my fair share of potty-training equipment, and I have to say, this is one of the coolest options I’ve come across! I’ve always kept a little step stool in the bathroom so the kids can climb up to the toilet and sink, so I love that this essentially combines that functionality with a potty-training seat. It’s sturdy, easy to install and remove, and I really like that it folds flat for storage.”
