Soothe 'n Delight Portable Baby Swing for Infant
The metal frame folds flat when you need floor space back. Ingenuity built this low to the ground with a plush seat pad and a removable toy bar overhead. It runs entirely on batteries, so you can set it down in the kitchen or take it out to the porch without hunting for a wall outlet.
Prices are what the catalogue last saw and move without warning. The number on the retailer page is the one that counts.
Reading the piece
- Low folding frame The side legs pivot inward to flatten the whole unit for storage behind a door or in a car trunk. The metal frame stays planted on hard floors while swinging.
- Plush fabric seat Soft fabric covers the deep bucket seat, with a padded headrest for extra support during the early weeks. The entire pad unhooks quickly when it is time for the washing machine.
- Quiet motor settings A dial lets you pick between multiple speeds without loud gear noise. Built-in timers shut the motion and melodies off automatically once the set period runs out.
- Removable toy bar Two plush hanging figures sit directly above the seat for reaching and batting. The entire bar snaps off with one hand so you can lift a baby out without bumping their head.

Worth a second look
- Needs four C batteries. Batteries are rarely in the box, and a motor that has to be fed is the part people forget when they compare it to a bouncer that costs nothing to run.
- The limit is 20 lb, which many babies reach well before the first birthday. Buy it for the months you have, not for the year.
- Rated across three of the four stages here, which is why it costs what it costs and why it is worth checking the folded size before buying.
