Keep Inmotion Automatic Baby Rocker Seat

NewbornBefore sitting upSitting up

A motorized base rocks back and forth without you pushing the frame with a foot. Ingenuity added a remote so you can change the pace, volume, or vibration from across the room. The seat reclines for younger babies and folds flat into a carry bag when you need floor space back.

Prices are what the catalogue last saw and move without warning. The number on the retailer page is the one that counts.

Reading the piece

  • Remote and base controls Touch buttons on the rocker control the motion, melodies, and vibrations, but the small handheld remote lets you change settings from the sofa. It handles speed, vibration, and sound volume.
  • Seat angle and padding The seat tilts back for younger babies and sits more upright as they grow. Woven fabric covers the outer edges, while the center section uses a quilted plush pad that pulls off for the washing machine.
  • Toy bar and accessories An overhead bar snaps onto the frame to hang a plush hot air balloon and a wood ring with fabric tags. Older babies can reach up and pull on the toys, or you can pop the bar off entirely.
  • Compact flat fold The frame collapses down for storage in a closet or under a bed. Ingenuity includes a travel bag with handles so you can pack the folded rocker into the car trunk for visits.

Worth a second look

  • Rated across three of the four stages here, which is why it costs what it costs and why it is worth checking the folded size before buying.
